A graduate of Oakland Technical High School, saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer Nathan Nakadegawa-Lee grew up playing music in OUSD jazz bands, and at sessions around the Bay, where his love for music developed and grew. He has performed at various venues in the Bay Area such as Yoshi’s, Freight & Salvage, The California Jazz Conservatory, The Octopus Literary Salon and The Starry Plough. He currently studies at the New School for Jazz, but during the pandemic he is home in Oakland taking online classes, playing, practicing, and listening to music.

Nathan is currently not taking any more free students, but you can contact him for discounted lessons at nnakalee@gmail.com.
