Hi! My name is Jared Klinghoffer and I am a trumpet player and music-lover in Pleasant Hill, CA and attend College Park High School.  I have been playing trumpet for 7 years, and was introduced to jazz in middle school, and have loved it ever since.  I have studied with trumpet players such as Arturo Sandoval, Tony Glausi, Charlie Porter and others, and currently study with Mike Rose, Michael Miller, and Bobby Shew.  I currently play as an alternate with the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars Big Band, and have previously played in all District and County honor bands in Contra Costa County.  I am familiar with both jazz and classical styles, and have experience teaching others through my involvement with Boy Scouts and Taekwondo.  I love making great music and sharing my passion with others.  Let’s make some great music together and explore our journeys in music!
