Isaac Coyle is a bassist and occasional guitarist hailing from El Cerrito, CA. He began his musical studies on guitar at the age of 6, and fervently pursued his dream of becoming a rock guitarist before getting sidetracked (and ultimately overtaken) by his discovery of both the upright bass and Ahmad Jamal at the age of 14. While in high school, Isaac had the opportunity to study under fantastic musicians such as Howard Wiley, Ben Wolfe, Jeff Chambers and many others. He also got chances to play in honor bands such as the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra and SFJazz High School All-Stars, while also frequently gigging around the Bay Area. He graduated from El Cerrito High School in 2019 and currently attends the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
