As a junior at Acalanes High School, George has regularly participated in a variety of extracurricular musical settings, including the California Jazz Conservatory, SFJazz High School All-Stars Big Band and the California All-State Jazz Band. George has been selected as a Jazz in the Neighborhood "Emerging Artist" and additionally recognized on local, state, and national levels by prestigious establishments such as the Downbeat magazine. George has played saxophone for six years, adapting numerous other musical skills along the way, particularly piano and composition.
